Longtime and Quebec based blurr ambassadors Catherine Vallaincourt and Olivier Turgeon have landed in our home base of Squamish for a five week stay. This was the first chance we've had to meet them in person and the enthusiasm that came across in communication from afar was more than present in person; we are lucky to have them engaged and contributing.
With a talent for photography, video and writing they will provide a glimpse of Squamish through the eyes of those traveling in for a summer of recreation in this fantastic place. It's easy to take all Squamish has to offer for granted or fall into the same routine after being based here for a long period and we think they'll find a few gems that we've long since forgotten.

Nouse sommes arrivés à Squamish pour l'été! Il y a au moins 4 ans que nous n'avions pas grimpé dans ce paradis granitique. Arriver à Squamish, c'est comme retourner chez ses parents; on s'y sent toujours chez soi. Nous dormons au Chief, le camping à la base de la paroi. Presque rien n'a changé ici, les "tent patches" de camping, les hippies barbus, les toilettes et leurs odeurs, les poubelles "bear proof", les multiples slacklines, le stationnement et ses "pickups" remplis de tradeux qui discutent de leurs péripéties de la journée en buvant une bière bien méritée ... Non, rien n'a changé.
